What are Questionnaires?
Questionnaires are used by the sourcing manager to collect information during a sourcing event. They help verify standards, gather organizational details, or evaluate supplier proposals and commitments.
How to Complete and Submit a Questionnaire?
Once you accept a project invitation, all tasks appear in the Tasks section. If there is a questionnaire, it will be listed there.
Click the black Go to questionnaire button to access it.
You can choose to fill out the questionnaire directly in the app or work offline in Excel and upload your answers.
💻 Option 1: Complete Questionnaire Online (Recommended)
Fill out the questionnaire online by entering your answers directly in the designated fields.
⚠️ Please fill in all required fields (marked with a red asterisk) to submit.
2. Click on "Submit Response" at the bottom of the page.
❗If you don't click "Submit," your answers won't be visible to the sourcing manager.
📥 Option 2: Complete Questionnaire in Excel
⚠️ Attention: Uploading an Excel file later will delete all previously entered answers!
In the questionnaire, click "More" on the right, then select "Upload answers."
2. In the message that pops up, click on "Download template" next to Step 1.
3. Fill out the Excel template without modifying its structure.
📝 Note: If the questionnaire requires a document upload, this must be done directly in the questionnaire section before submitting — not within the Excel file.
4. Save your completed file locally before uploading.
5. Return to the Questionnaire section and, in the pop-up under Step 2, drag and drop your completed Excel file into the blue upload area.
6. Check the box, acknowledging that all previous answers will be deleted.
⚠️ Note that if you had previously filled in any answers in-app these will be completely overridden.
7. Click "Upload Answers". The online questionnaire will be automatically filled out and saved.
8. Click "Submit response" to complete your submission.
❗If you don't click "Submit," your answers won't be visible to the sourcing manager.
✅ How to Confirm Your Submission?
After you submit the questionnaire, you can see the following message at the top of the Questionnaire section: "Done! Your response was submitted to Archlet"
Additionally, the task "Questionnaire" will also be marked as completed “You have submitted your answers.” with a timestamp in the Tasks section in your Project Overview
This confirms that your questionnaire has been successfully submitted to the sourcing organization.
Edit your answers after submission
You can edit your answers anytime before the round deadline. Click Withdraw answers in the Questionnaire section, make your changes, and click Submit response again.

How can I upload documents required in the Questionnaire?
Document uploads can't be done in the Excel file.
To upload a document, go to the Questionnaire section and scroll to the specific question requiring a file. You'll see a blue upload field where you can drag and drop your file or click to browse and select it.
You can upload up to 10 files, each up to 2 GB. Supported file types include:
.xlsx, .docx, .pdf, .pptx, .zip, .jpg, .png, .xml, .svg, .step, .stp, .sldprt, .dwg, .jt, and .dxf.

The deadline has passed. Are my answers lost if I didn’t submit?
Your answers are automatically saved as a draft. However, sourcing managers can only see them once you click "Submit answers." After the deadline, drafts can't be edited unless the round is re-opened by the sourcing manager.
